James Stephens, owner

Throughout his entire adult life James enjoyed going to estate sales, auctions and scavenging for hidden treasures. "One man's junk is another man's treasure" is a saying that has always rang true for James. Being a self-proclaimed estate sale junkie, James always wondered what happens for the people that live too far outside city limits, overly cluttered spaces, or any other reason he knew other companies have turned down work.

During an off season from his union sheet metal job James helped a friend clear out an estate he recently inherited, determining what had value that could be sold, what was in good shape, but not of financial worth, and what was just plain useless. He soon realized he could be answer to the ponderings he always had, the guy that provided an alternative to a traditional estate sale. Plus, it fulfills his passion for helping people by helping them reclaim their space and handling the less then pleasant job of making stuff actually leave the property.

The Crew

James has a knack for hiring only the hardest workers, typically family or friends. They work cohesively to handle the client's belongings with the utmost care and respect....and a lot of muscle. In the picture to the left, part of the crew is shown after moving an almost 2,000 pound safe up from a client's basement.

Behind the scenes is also his absolutely amazing and spectacular daughter in law that is taking him from hillbilly basic to modern tech. They bicker constantly on refining the business image and getting the knitty-gritty of the business taken care of. Shannon handles most of the website and social media interactions. We're working on getting into a routine of corresponding before and after pictures.
